“Roger’s conference video team was invisible on the day and indispensable in the edit. The recap film we used at next year’s launch paid for itself three times over.”

Frequently asked questions

How much does conference video production cost?

Conference video production starts at $2,499 per day per videographer. That includes professional camera and audio equipment, up to 10 hours of filming, and light editing (trimming, intro/outro bumpers, branding). Multi-camera setups, sizzle reels, and expanded packages are available at custom rates. See full pricing →

What is typically included in a conference video package?

A standard package covers 4K capture of all sessions and keynotes, by a single videographer with a single, static camera (wide angle), light editing with your intro/outro bumpers and branding, and delivery of all files via secure download. Multi-camera production, sizzle reels, highlight films, and social-format cuts are available as add-ons.

What is a sizzle reel and does my conference need one?

A sizzle reel is a 60–90 second high-energy edit of your event’s best moments — designed to promote next year’s event, attract sponsors, and generate excitement on social media. If you run a recurring annual conference, it’s one of the highest-ROI investments in your event marketing. It’s produced from the same footage captured during the day.

How long does video editing take after a conference?

A highlight reel or sizzle reel typically takes 5–10 business days after the event. Individual session recordings with light editing take 3–7 days.

Should I hire both a photographer and videographer?

Yes, if your budget allows — they serve completely different purposes. Photos are used immediately for social, press, and your website. Video is used for post-event distribution, speaker promotion, and next year’s marketing. Many organizations run both simultaneously from the same event. If you hire Roger for photography services, he will be able to assist with contracting a videographer from his network to ensure a seamless experience for you with maximum quality.

What formats and resolutions are the videos delivered in?

All footage is captured in 4K and delivered as H.264/H.265 MP4 at 1080p or 4K, optimized for web and social platforms. ProRes masters are available for broadcast or archival use. Social-optimized vertical (9:16) and square (1:1) cuts for Instagram and LinkedIn can be included in the package.
